What Were They Wearing – Celeb Edition

Today’s swell story—the always fun What Was She Wearing: Answers!—features a finely dressed foursome comprised of some of the women you ask about the most (hello Bilson). We have all the must-know info about their looks, from buckled booties to super luxurious scarves.

Rachel Bilson

Rachel Bilson looked positively chic—per usual—while shopping in Los Feliz earlier this week. Always dressed to inspire, this grocery expedition was no exception, as her outfit prompted a dozen questions mere hours after the photos appeared online. It pleases us to share that Bilson was wearing the Arabesque Halter Dress ($20.99) from the Jovovich-Hawk Collection for Target with a pair of Opening Ceremony shoes. Her particular pair already sold out, but we think Opening Ceremony’s Patent Lace Up Sandals  ($308) give a similar effect, and will get good use from now through summer’s end. You can finish achieving her look with Juicy Couture’s Shrunken Leather Coat ($698), which features similar hardware detailing.

Kate Bosworth

Thanks to the release of her box-office-topping movie, 21, the demurely dressed Kate Bosworth turned up at events galore this past month. She offered up a plethora of covetable outfits at premieres, interviews, and even while traveling at the airport—all of which caught your eye and left you wanting more. Thankfully, Bosworth stood still at MTV’s TRL on March 26th long enough for our readers to send us detailed information requests. We can satisfy your curiosity and report that at said event, the Boz dressed in one of our personal favorites, Alexander Wang. The Pleated Shoulder Top ($295) and is currently available in Nordstrom stores and you can find her Zip Top Skirt ($385) at select Barneys stores. Topping the look off were a retro but ever-cool pair of Oakley sunglasses. As for her shoes, they’re Etro, but try the Nikita Ankle Boot by Ash ($159.95) for a more affordable version.

Whitney Port

The inquiries we receive regarding The Hills girls are neverending, especially when it comes to the lovely Whitney Port. While attending the premiere of the show’s new season at Gotham Hall in New York City, she stood out from her costars in a flirty ensemble. You can pick up Port’s Red Skirt ($225) by Opening Ceremony in stores now and match it with Jovovich-Hawk’s Katie Top ($542), which is a similar style to the sold-out Jill Stuart blouse Whitney’s wearing. Port’s shoes are vintage, but the Nadine One Band Sandal  ($565) designed by ScorahPattullo serve as a great substitute.

Hana Soukupova

Hana Soukupova attended Radar Entertainment’s fashion division launch in New York last month in praiseworthy attire, earning her a most welcomed WWWD debut. The Czech-born supermodel showed off her long legs in Thread Social’s Tuxedo Dress ($745). We found similar rompers for your liking; try the One Piece Romper ($352) by Alexander Wang and the Lux Drapey Suit Romper ($44.99). Hana showed off perfectly balanced accessories and offset the boyishness Ann Demeulemeester boots with a girly gauzy Alexander McQueen scarf. The boots are a few seasons retired, but we found a great substitute with the Leather Convertible Boot ($129.99) from Urban Outfitters. Try McQueen’s Skull Pashmina ($315) for a similar scarf. —JESSICA AMENTO, additional reporting by Lily Huber.
